Details

The Kyverno Background Controller handles non-blocking actions like generating new resources and modifying existing ones. It does this asynchronously by watching and reconciling UpdateRequest resources in the cluster, so the admission webhook doesn’t get slowed down. It also watches for policy additions, updates, or deletions to run retroactive scans and apply rules to resources that are already running.
