Thanos

Thanos is a set of components that can be composed into a highly available metric system with unlimited storage capacity. It seamlessly integrates with Prometheus, extending its capabilities for long-term storage and global query views.

Thanos overcomes the single-point-of-failure limitation of Prometheus by offering components like Sidecar, Querier, Ruler, Store Gateway, and Compactor. This makes it ideal for managing metrics in large-scale, distributed environments.
